If there's one kitchen tool that's essential for professionals, skilled home cooks, and even novices, it's the chef's knife .
However, there is no such thing as a "perfect" chef's knife. Designing a universal kitchen knife involves many personal considerations.
Details such as cooking style, experience and habits, as well as hand size and subtle preferences such as weight, balance and grip comfort.

We at Hard Crafts had a flash of inspiration and jumped at the chance to create a better chef's knife. So we put our efforts into designing and manufacturing sharper, more durable, and most importantly more “ergonomic” knives made from high-quality Damascus steel.

Thanks to advancements in materials and superb craftsmanship, Hard Crafts succeeded in creating the REO by fusing the best of both styles into one chef's knife.

The blade is made from proprietary VG-10 high carbon steel and wrapped in 33 layers of premium Damascus steel on each side for extra strength and corrosion resistance.

The cutting core is composed of a unique formula of high carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness of 60-62. It can be ground to a very sharp edge with an angle of 15 degrees on each side.
